Kling 4.0 Flash, the new fast video model on NeuralSpace

NeuralSpace has a new fast addition — Kling 4.0 Flash, a lighter version of Kling 4.0. It generates video from text, photos and video references — faster and notably cheaper than the base model. The model is available in the Video section, on its own page /video/kling-4-0-flash, and works in the public API and MCP.

The sweet spot of speed and price

Flash is built for quickly trying variants: clips of 3 to 20 seconds, output at 720p. References work just like in the base Kling 4.0 — up to 15 links in one request (up to 10 images and 5 videos), with the camera movement and scene pacing carried over from a video reference.

How Flash differs from Kling 4.0

  • Duration: 3–20 seconds instead of the 3–30 of the base version.
  • Resolution: 720p only (Kling 4.0 also offers 1080p).
  • Keyframes: a single first frame is supported, without the last and intermediate ones.
  • Sound and voices: voice generation and keeping the original audio track are not available — for native sound and lip-sync use the base Kling 4.0.
  • Price: notably lower, with faster generation.

Pricing

Billing is in tokens: the exact price is shown before the run and stays frozen — it does not change after you press the button. With video references both the output seconds and the input clip seconds are billed (the larger value is taken). Tokens are charged when the task is created and refunded automatically if the generation fails. Current prices are on the model page and in the API section.

How to try it

  1. Open the Video section and pick Kling 4.0 Flash (model page: /video/kling-4-0-flash).
  2. For text-to-video enter a description and choose the 3–20 second duration and aspect ratio (auto, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 21:9).
  3. To work from materials upload photos or video references — up to 15 links, a single first frame or a video reference for the motion.
  4. For your own apps the kling-4-0-flash model is available in the public API (POST /v1/videos/generations) and via MCP — the generate_video tool. Get a key on the API page.

When to pick Kling 4.0 Flash

Pick Flash for fast variants and bulk generation: stories, scene drafts, frame hunting, short social clips. For the full 30 seconds, 1080p, native sound and full keyframe control the base Kling 4.0 remains.
