Seedance neural network: AI video generation from text and references
Seedance is a neural network for generating and editing video. Give it text, images, video clips and audio, and it returns a finished clip from 4 to 30 seconds long. The model does not only create video from scratch: it extends existing footage, transfers motion and style from references, and can generate sound together with the picture. NeuralSpace runs the current Seedance 2.5 — you can try it on the model page.
What Seedance 2.5 can do
A single request can use up to 30 images, 10 videos and 10 audio files. Images anchor a character, product or location; videos demonstrate movement, editing rhythm or camera work; audio sets the voice, music or mood. The text prompt explains how to combine all of it into the final story.
This input works well for commercials, music clips, short stories and extensions of existing footage. Instead of describing a face and camera movement in a long paragraph, you can simply show the model the character, the product and an example of the shot you want.
First and last frames versus references
In first-and-last-frame mode you upload two images: where the shot should begin and where it should end. The model builds the motion between them — useful for transformations, an object appearing, or a change of time of day.
Reference mode is better when identity, a product, style or movement matters most. Files are mentioned in the prompt as @Image1, @Video1 and @Audio1, and their order is shown beside the uploader. Each reference can be given its own role.

Video, sound and the last frame
Seedance 2.5 extends and reworks an uploaded clip. Video references may total up to 30 seconds, so it is best to keep only the useful fragment. The audio toggle creates a soundtrack together with the clip, and the last-frame option returns a still of the final scene — handy as the start of the next clip.
Formats and practical workflows
Clips run from 4 to 30 seconds at 480p, 720p and 1080p, with several aspect ratios and MP4 or MOV output. Vertical framing suits Reels, Shorts and TikTok; landscape suits ads and YouTube. The model is especially useful for product videos from photos, a consistent hero across a content series, animated storyboards and scenes synced to music or speech.
FAQ
Is Seedance free?
There is no subscription: you pay only for the seconds of video you generate. You can try it on the Seedance 2.5 page.
How does Seedance 2.5 differ from 2.0?
Version 2.5 accepts more references (up to 30 images, 10 videos and 10 audio files), generates sound together with the picture, and supports 1080p resolution.
Do I need editing skills?
No. The model assembles the clip itself from your prompt and references, and the result can be downloaded as MP4 or MOV.
