الخلاصة (BLUF): The experimental TripoSplat model builds a cloud of 3D Gaussians (Gaussian Splat) from a single photo and shows it in a built-in viewer right in the browser. Everything runs on your device; the photo is never uploaded.
The first weights download is about 6.5 GB. The experimental build has been verified mostly on powerful desktop GPUs; laptops and phones may run slowly or run out of memory.
Chrome or Edge with WebGPU is supported; mobile devices are not guaranteed.
TripoSR builds a polygonal GLB model (see the neighbouring tab); TripoSplat produces a cloud of Gaussian "drops" exported as a PLY file. The result is richer in texture detail, but the file is larger and does not open in most 3D editors.
Free: no tokens are charged and there is no paid API. The photo and the result stay in your browser.
The model is new, the weights are about 6.5 GB and stable operation has been verified mostly on powerful desktops; other devices may run slowly or run out of memory.
Depends on your internet: 6.5 GB at 50 Mbit/s is about 15 minutes; the model is cached after the first download.
WebGPU and a significant amount of video memory: desktop GPUs and top laptops. Phones are not supported yet.
